Contest rules
Rules applicable to the contests organised by Kotoba Interactive on its social networks and website. Each contest may be subject to additional specific conditions set out in its announcement.
Article 1: Organiser
Contests are organised by Kotoba Interactive, a sole proprietorship, SIRET 897 456 356 00020, with its registered office at 58 rue de Monceau, CS 48756, 75380 Paris Cedex 08, France (the "Organiser").
Article 2: Eligibility
Participation is free and with no purchase necessary. One entry per person and per contest, unless stated otherwise. To take part, you must:
- be a natural person aged 18 or over (or have parental authorisation);
- reside in mainland France or its overseas territories, unless stated otherwise;
- hold an account on the platform concerned by the contest;
- not be a member of the Organiser's staff or close family.
Article 3: How to enter
The terms specific to each contest (duration, required actions, platform) are detailed in its announcement. Typical actions may include:
- following the Kotoba Interactive account on the relevant network;
- liking and/or sharing the contest post;
- commenting on the post or answering a question;
- tagging one or more friends in a comment.
Article 4: Selection of winners
- random draw among valid entries, or selection by a jury according to the contest terms;
- winners are contacted by private message or email within 7 days of the closing date;
- if there is no response within 14 days, a new winner is selected;
- the list of winners may be published on the Kotoba Interactive accounts.
Article 5: Prizes
- prizes are described in each contest's announcement;
- they may include access to the SRS platforms, promo codes or goodies;
- prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred or refunded in cash;
- the Organiser may replace a prize with one of equivalent value.
Article 6: Personal data
The data collected (name, email, social network handle) is processed on the basis of your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), in accordance with our privacy policy. It is used solely to run the contest and is deleted within 3 months of its end. You have rights of access, rectification and erasure.
Article 7: Liability
- the Organiser is not responsible for technical problems related to social networks;
- the Organiser may cancel or modify a contest in the event of force majeure;
- any fraud results in the immediate exclusion of the participant;
- participants release the social networks from all liability.
Article 8: Intellectual property
By taking part, the participant authorises the Organiser to use their username and comment for communication purposes related to the contest, without compensation.
Article 9: Governing law
These rules are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and after seeking an amicable solution, the competent courts of Paris shall have sole jurisdiction. The full rules are available on request.
