Synopsis
Bei Weiwei is a computer science student at university whose best-kept secret is that she is one of the top players of the MMORPG 'A Chinese Ghost Story.' When her in-game 'husband' divorces her to marry another player, Weiwei accepts the virtual marriage proposal of Yixiao Naihe, the most powerful and mysterious player on the server. Their in-game chemistry is immediate: they chain raids, dominate rankings, and become the most envied couple in the virtual world.
In real life, Weiwei discovers that Yixiao Naihe is actually Xiao Nai, a senior student at her university — handsome, brilliant, athletic, and president of a tech startup. Xiao Nai, who had already noticed Weiwei on campus, deliberately sought to meet her in-game. Their romance then develops simultaneously in both worlds, digital and real, with a lightness and charm that contrast with the usual melodramas.
The drama also follows the professional journey of Weiwei and Xiao Nai, who collaborate on developing a video game, facing business rivals and campus intrigues. The series celebrates intelligence, technical competence, and female ambition in a field often dominated by men.
